Well it's spring in full force now and we were so happy to have passed the spring equinox in Morocco this year with two back-to-back retreats which marked EPM's 16th and 17th retreats at Peacock Pavilions in Marrakesh. The first week was our luxury yoga itinerary with a beautiful group and daytrips to the souks in the medina, a day in the Atlas Mountains, spa time at the luxurious hotel La Mamounia and treatments at the beautiful hammam & spa, Les Bains des Marrakech.
It was a treat, as always, to get to meet the guests, see some repeat faces as well as new friends and connect with our amazing hosts at Peacock Pavilions. Of course, we spent time each day in yoga and meditation class and learning a bit more about ourselves and how to go deeper in our practice.

On our second week, we had a great time with our FORM+FOCUS collaborator, Julian Hyzler of EASEL&LENS as we learned to be mindful and truly present in each day through yoga and learning to "see" as we created beautiful travel journals. It's been such a wonderful process as we've worked together over the past couple of years in fine-tuning how to bring movement and yoga together with a creative process - and we've found that they actually work quite naturally hand-in-hand as they both teach us how to focus, be mindful, spend a bit more time invested in the present, and that everything is always a process.

We enjoyed a great week of sunshine and creativity with a really fun group from the US and Australia. We found ourselves drawing in the middle the crowded souks from a quiet and private overlook, drinking mint teas and coffees whilst the madness all happened below us. Inspiration was taken from textiles, colours, Arabic words, the people of he medina and the raw beauty of the Atlas Mountains. It was a memorable trip and I loved the energy and enthusiasm which produced dozens of great photographs and 10 great travel journals!
