TRAVELER TESTIMONY \ Anna & Jared - Georgia, USA

We are back with our next installment in our TRAVELER TESTIMONY series. This round is Anna and Jared from Atlanta, GA. This couple has a graphic design and photography business, have been married for 14 years and love any opportunity to travel together and explore new places. We are always excited to welcome couples on our retreats, and this duo is quite a lovely pair. They recently joined us for our Tuscany retreat in July, and we've been enjoying Jared's stunning photos from the week, seen in this post!

What drew you EAT.PRAY.MOVE Yoga Retreats?

EPM was kind of the perfect combo for an ideal vacation for us. I have trained at Strala with Erin and was excited to get to do yoga. Jared is the super creative one and loved getting to photograph all of the amazing places we were able to pack into our trip to Tuscany.

What did you learn on your trip? Did anything surprise you?

It was such an added bonus to have Julian as an art history guide around all of the towns we visited. We learned so much more than if we would have visited on our own. When you visit a country with such a rich history it can be easy to be overwhelmed by it, so we really enjoyed getting to dive into it without it feeling like a "tourist group". It is much more like hanging out with a new group of friends.

What was it like to have Erin Lewis as a guide?

Erin is awesome! She is super prepared and has studied and planned out every aspect of the trip. It makes it easy to just go with the flow and not have to worry about all the details. Which can be such a challenge with international traveling. I also loved the yoga classes! Erin is such a great guide, the perfect blend of different styles!

What were the top moments from your trip?

We both left the trip feeling like we had made a new group of friends. Looking back at our photos we couldn't believe we had packed all we did into a week! The villa was beyond beautiful, we had a great time at the wine and olive oil tasting, exploring Florence and getting to see all of the smaller towns we probably wouldn't have made it to on our own. Too many to name!

What lasting impressions did you have?

We think any travel really broadens your perspective on life. It was a great inspiration trip work wise. Italy is visually stunning, from the iconic art to the one million doors jared took photos of! We might have definitely taken home a love of the aperol spritz!

Thanks, Anna and Jared, for sharing your excitement, your memories and your incredible travel photos. We are so grateful to have you as part of our EPM family, and we can't wait to see you again!
