[ yoga ] On our CLASSIC yoga retreats, we usually have two yoga classes a day - we do a general vinyasa flow in the morning about 60-75’ and enjoy an evening class which is more restorative or themed (hips, heart-openers) for around 45’. There are various meditation times throughout the week with about 15m guidance of various methods and encouragement to take any free-time to explore further on your own if you wish.
This of course, is mixed with daily activities such as daytrips, tours, tastings, spa treatments & more - so you can enjoy a balanced holiday filled with adventure, relaxation, & renewal.
[ yoga + art ] Our FORM+FOCUS retreats combine yoga and art to give you a new look into a mindful holiday. Daily yoga/meditation classes prepare our bodies and minds, while the art classes, in collaboration with Julian Hyzler from EASEL&LENS, give us a creative way to really see and look at the new sites around us. We create amazing travel journals through the week, using various artistic methods like watercolor, sketching, photography (smartphone photography is recommended), and even writing and collecting articles for our books. Guests take home a beautiful memory of the trip.
We have one yoga class and one art class per day. *NO PREVIOUS ART OR YOGA BACKGROUND REQUIRED. All levels are welcome, and participation is voluntary. Projects and classes will be offered as a completely exploratory, non-intimidating and personal experience.
[ yoga + meditation ] Our MINDFUL MOVEMENT retreats are facilitated by EPM’s collaborator, Jen Carter. Jen holds advanced yoga and meditation instructor certifications from New York City yoga studios Pure Yoga, Yoga Vida, and It’s Yoga based in San Francisco. She also maintains a daily meditation practice, and she views her purpose in life is to share the beauty and ease of that practice. Jen’s classes are crafted to challenge her students but also to make it easy for them to incorporate both asana and meditation into their daily lives back at home. She sees EAT.PRAY.MOVE as an amazing opportunity to explore new lands and culture while simultaneously exploring new levels within. On these retreats there is usually one full yoga class and one full meditation class per day.
[ yoga + life-coaching ] Besides daily yoga classes, our new MOVE+MANIFEST retreats offers a series of mindful workshops that will guide you in the exploration of creative self-expression in your life. We will have meaningful discussions and fun activities intended to help you tap into your own inner wisdom and heartfelt desires. And between the beauty of each location and the serenity of the landscape, the atmosphere will surely ignite your being with an energy perfect for the creative process.
